Document Versioning

Document versioning is available starting with version 5.3 of conceptcms.

Document versioning covers content versioning for single documents, based on a current template. Not subject of document versioning are the following issues: the option to manage and restore complete versions of a Website and the option to manange and restore relations between templates, documents and related content elements.

Finally deleted documents (= documents deleted from trash; see Recycle bin) can't be restored via document versioning. The same applies for content of Content Elements (CE) that have been deleted in a document template. Versioning does not extend to templates, a document version is always the using the current template. If this template does not contain a ceratin CE any longer, the content is definitely lost..

If you have the respective rights, you can open the list of document versions via the icon

in the document list.
